Sidney Crosby makes his return to hockey after another concussion. For this all-star it is sad to hear that yet again he had another concussion. After missing 101 games in 2011-2012, another set back for Crosby is definitely not something he wants to relive. This concussion however came from getting hit in a team practice, with having a prior concussion it is easier to get another one being hit the wrong way. This concussion, however, did not sideline the captain for that long again, thankfully. Sidney made his return October 25th at home vs the Florida Panthers, after missing the team’s first six games. What would you expect from Sidney in his return to the lineup? To score of course, and that is just what he did! Crosby’s goal came in the second period to boost the teams confidence after being down 2-0 with the Panthers scoring late in the first and early in the second. The team was flat on their feet, but his goal sparked motivation in the team and they came back to win the game, 3-2. We can all expect Sidney to be back in tip top shape in no time!
